It was the desire to reach more people with her paintings that inspired Sandra to give them a rebirth on silk. Her art is now able to touch followers, cover their shoulders, adorn their heads and enhance their look & feel. Even as a child, SANDRA handed pins to her mother and enjoyed beautiful tailored dresses that she owed to her mother‘s art. In this mother-daughter symbiosis she discovers her passion for the world of fabrics, patterns and tailoring. Today, the delicacy of silk adds a new transparency and vibrancy to her paintings, enriching colours and luminosity. Since the foundation of the SANDRA SALVAT brand, her creations have appeared in limited series. Each piece is made with special care and tells a personal story. Sandra Salvat

Sandra was born and grew up in Barcelona where she began to express her love for painting at an early age. After attending Art History at the UB, she trained in decorative painting techniques at the Fullham School of Wall Painting in London. Subsequently, she began to paint murals and frescoes on the walls of villas, pavilions, bars and restaurants in Berlin, Barcelona and other cities. With the foundation of the SANDRA SALVAT brand, her artistic spectrum expanded. Now her artworks and designs experience a physical transformation in combination with silk, deriving their appeal from the visual diversity of her motifs and the tactile quality. "I appreciate to enable my paintings a new dimension. So I looked for a material that would bring transparency, volatility and physical contact with people. Silk is it. It touches my soul that people find my creations attractive and wear them to express their own identity".
