"In autumn I love going mushroom hunting with my family and friends in the forests around Berlin. That is where the parasol mushroom grows, an elegant species that can reach a surprising size. Its wide cap seems to offer shelter to tiny imaginary beings, becoming the perfect hiding place for forest gnomes. "One summer morning I sat on a rock facing the village of Calella de Palafrugell to paint watercolours inspired by the Mediterranean landscape. When the heat grew stronger, I dived into the sea and began to swim underwater. A school of sardines appeared before me, moving in perfect harmony like a silent choreography. Fascinated by the elegance of their movements and the beauty of their formation, back on shore I turned that instant into this illustration, a tribute to the serenity and rhythm of marine life.This scarf is finished with an exquisite crochet lace trim sewn by hand around its entire edge.
